  • 1.  Firewall is malfunctioning and Software upto date is failing

    Hello All, We have reinstalled the Symantec 12.1 in one of our client machine , after installation it is getting Firewall malfunction error and we are unable to update the virus Definitions , please find the below error for the reference and advise on this. Thanks in advance

    if its on 1 pc, go to add/remove programs

    select sep

    select modify

    remove firewall

    reboot

    follow the same step to install firewall

    reboot, check if u stil have issues.

    Did you try a repair of the SEP client?

    Yeah its only one PC having this problem..

    After reinstalling also it is having the same problem

    You can carry out the steps i suggested first, if you still face the issue, call support get cleanwipe run it and then install a fresh copy..
