  • 1.  First time SEP Client install hit's Live update and not SEPMC

    I have been installing the Client on a few PC's in my department, as I keep testing different features, etc. My question is: When I migrate to Endpoint and install the client from the Migration and deployment wizard everything works great. When I get my report from Websense, it shows the the client has went to the Symantec Live update server for it's definition updates. This only happens on the install, after that, it pulls all updates from my local server. Is this normal, or am I missing a policy somewhere?  Thanks for any help!

    I'm on 11.0.6xxxxx Server and clients

    disable liveupdate as per this document
