  • 1.  fullscan stuck / hangs on file

    Hello ,

    i have upgrade my server to V14 and  same Clients to 14.0.1904 . 

    Now its that some of the upgraded clients hangs or stuck in the weekly full scan.

    The Files are random on clients

    smc -stop not help

    Only reboot  works as Workaround because its no solution

    You may need to enable the logging to see where exactly it sits while scanning

    as you are already on latest version , its better to open up a case with Symantec

    Do you use SIC (Shared Insight Cache)?

    If yes, SEP 14 has bug with SIC and scanning >4Gb file.
