Getting "Another installation is currently in progress" when trying to do an install of endpoint protection

  • 1.  Getting "Another installation is currently in progress" when trying to do an install of endpoint protection

    I get this message as soon as I start the installation.  I've looked in task manager, services, etc. and don't see what is blocking this install.  I've tried rebooting and starting the download/install over but I get the same result.

    Is this a fresh install? Or was SEP previously installed? Have you tried running cleanwipe on the box to clear out any old remnants?

    The first install failed, so it was not fresh from that standpoint.  The Cleanwipe fixed it.  Thanks!
