    Hi,

    Currently we are running DLP 14.6 MP2 version and want to upgrade to DLP 15, we are getting Getting "ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified" error at create the new Update Readiness tool database account.

     

    Please help on this.

    Tatsavitur,

    It looks like you have not specified a valid SID for the tool to connect to. SQLPLUS is returning that error basically saying "I don't know what I'm supposed to be connecting to." If you don't know your database SID, you can find it in \SymantecDLP\Protect\config\jdbc.properties in the connection string. This should at least help you track down what you're trying to connect to.
