I have created an image of a Windows 7 Pro desktop using the -ib switch.  No errors on creation of the image.  However, I am trying to blow that image down to another workstation (using WinPE boot disk and Iomega usb drive), and I am getting the following errors:

    File name (546)

    Then

    Application error 25058
Unable to locate enough contiguous free space to load run
Increase the destination partition size or
    run ghost with -NTEXACT switch.

Does that -ntexact switch work with ghost 11.5.1.2266 (Ghost ss) and WinPE boot disk?

Yes the -ntexact switch will work with Ghost 11.5.1.2266. Add this switch in the command line  and restore the image.

Where would I find instructions on how to add that switch?

    Hi

If you are using console in the task you have "Advanced "tab at the bottom.
Once you click on the advance tab a new pop up screen will come and you can enter the switch.

                                                                         OR

If you are using a boot disk you can use the switch in the parameter field.
Select WINPE -> Standard Ghost boot wizard -> in the parameter field you can enter the switch.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I still have  the problem when I tried to restore the image back to the clients. If I didn't not add switch -ntexact, I will get the error 25058 right about 92% completed. But when I used the switch -ntexact, I will get the same error right away after the Ghost Console start the cast server at 0% completed.

I use GSS 2.5 Version 11.5.1.2266. My image is about 16Gb. And I use WinPE512. I have no problem if the image size around 7GB.

    Please Help.

    Hi

I got it solved. I replaced the hard disk with the same size of the original image. I was using the smaller size HD. I dont have to use any ghost switch at all.
