I have Ghost 2k3 and a Dell Dimension 9150.  The box uses ONLY USB for it peripherals.  When I created my backup DVD Ghost image I received both a keyboard and mouse warning.  I made the disks anyway in advanced setting I selected USB 2.0 drivers and assign drive letter for the external dvd burner and tried to restore them on another Dell 9150 to test.  When the system entered DOS mode to restore the keyboard went blank and I was unable to "next" to the next disk because I can't hit enter on the keyboard.  However before that and while in setup(where you can change the boot sequence etc..) it worked.  I also tried to put the keyboard drivers in additional files in the user tab in advanced settings no go..   Does anyone know how to get a USB keyboard to work in DOS while restoring a dvd back up with norton ghost 2k3?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank You in advance.

    Hi,

It looks like a difficult situation, since you need the USB support from Ghost to get see the DVD, but that might conflict with keyboard.

Could you check in the BIOS if there is a any selection for USB devices such as 'Legacy mode' and toggle it?

Though this is not really a solution, one other thing you can try is to put the command line to do the restore with -batch switch so that there is no keyboard intervention required. However, even this is possible only if all the images are in the same DVD.

    Let us know what happens.
