  • 1.  ghost 8.2 client polling for server

    Hi all,

    I have ghost console 8.2 installed on my w2k3 server. I have installed console client remotely to another machine which is on different vlan and client installed without any problems. Also on the other machine I have installed client manually but both of these client showing " polling for server named" error. I am able to ping both client from server and clients can ping server as well. Can anyone tell me if I am doing something different which could cause this issue?

    Try copying the .crt files from the ghost server to the client machine.  This should make them talk to each other.

    Located in C:\Program Files\Symantec\Ghost\

    pubkey and privkey (should only need pubkey though, but it doesn't hurt )
