  • 1.  Ghost image recovery tool?

I created a backup image of a laptop and the image spans 5 files. The image is corrupt or incomplete. when I try to open it in Ghost Explorer it asks for the last segment in the image but will not accept anything. There has to be some good data I can somehow pull out... does anybody know of any tools that would allow this? Please help!

As I am aware there is no other tool (or tools)to play with .gho files other than G

    Explorer.

Are you sure that you are opening the right 5th span?

How do you know that image file is corrupt or incomplete?

Check the image integrity if you are not sure.

There is a possibility that the corruption lies in the file index. If you open Ghost Explorer with the -ignoreindex command line switch, then it will ignore the index in the image file and scan the entire image. This *may* help ...
