  • 1.  Ghost Solution Suite 3.0, Hot Image Script Question.

    Hi All

    My Company, recently made a move from using ghost Suite 2.5 to GS3.0

    I am using the GSS3.0 mainly to HotImage PC's across the network at a giving schedule, while doing some testing i have noticed the Script running on the target Machine being visible to the User and can be close by him.

    So my question is, can i hide this from the user by adding a command line switch? Or maybe there is an option to do so from the console that i am missing?

    You may wish to indicate the PC operating systems you are supporting.

    Is it in Windows or PXE you want to hide the scripts?

    In Windows there is an option for each script to run it hidden. In PXE there used to be an option in GSS predecessor, Deployment Server 6.9, to lock the keyboard and mouse whilst in PXE.

    You can google for alternative techniques to lock keyboard and mouse as this is quite simple to implement outside the actual Ghost process.
