    Hello,

Have there been any updates to Ghost Solution Suite to make it compatible with uEFI and GPT partitions? Since IBM has migrated all of their server platforms to run uEFI, I really need Ghost to be able to restore a system so that it's actually usable without having to dink around with it. So far I've had no luck with this. I read a post from several months ago that you can create the Ghost image as raw and that "might" work. I don't need "might", I need a solution that "will" work. Thanks!

    Hi,
GSS 2.5 does not support the UEFI. However GSS 2.5 supports GPT disk.

    Thanks

Yes, I know you can use command line switches to "make" Ghost work with GPT partitions. (Maybe) What I'm looking for is possibly an update or new version that is going to be compatible in the long run with uEFI and GPT for automated backups/restores without the hassle of having to use the command line switches. In other words, if I go into the ghost64.exe and create a Ghost backup of a disk on a uEFI system with GPT partitions, I would like for it to restore them as GPT partitions when I go back into the ghost64.exe program. As of now it treats them as MBR by default.
