    I have created a ghost boot cd using version 11.0 on.  When I boot the computer up I receive the following error message:
     
    Boot from CD:
     
    1. HDD FileSystem Type - (00)
     
    Boot failure.
     
    I am able to use this cd with other systems.  This problem only occurs on the Dell Optiplex 740 and we have a lot of them for a tech refresh.   They do no contain floppy drives.

    I assume you are using PCDOS as default option to create your CD/DVD.
    Can you try MSDOS?

    A lot of manufacturers are now shipping DVD devices that are SATA instead of IDE.
    These SATA devices don't work with the old IDE optical drivers.

    You will either need to change your boot environment to something like WinPE which understands SATA devices or upgrade to a version of Ghost which provides native support for SATA.
