  • 1.  Ghostcast server and V2i files ???

    Hello ,
     
    I tried to ghostcast V2i files where was created by recovery , but in my session when I tried to open the V2i files , a windows tell me " this is not a supported file" ????
    I was thinking the last evolution of Ghost and Ghost cast ( ver 11 ) are compatible with V2i files ? ?

    What you have is the consumer version '.gho' files are specific to the enterprise version, while '.v2i' files refer to the consumer version. For more information, chek the links below:

    Hi,
     
    Just wanna to add to Adinas comment, you probably using Norton Ghost 9 or10 or Norton Save & Restore rather than any ghost version that was released after 2003.

    If you are using BESR you need to use the recovery CD to restore your files.You also may try posting the question in BESR forum, https://forums.symantec.com/syment/board?board.id=111 they might be the best one to help you.
