  • 1.  Ghosterr.txt & Application Error 19235

    I have an eMachine with Windows XP that I have been trying to fix the above errors for years now and need this desktop urgently now for my children's homework. I have Symantec Ghost 7.0 installed. When booting up, I get the above errors very early on and have tried the reboot CDs with no luck. Any suggestions on this fix?

    My first request would be... Please upgrade to the Latest Ghost Solution Suite i.e., 2.5.1 so far... and give it a try... Please let us know when and why do you get this error?

    Application Error 19235 is usually an indicator that your restore media is corrupt in some way. You can perform an image integrity check by following the advice in this technote: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH106828&locale=en_US

    Did you intend to attach the Ghosterr.txt file that you mentioned in your subject line ?
