We are in a catch 22 related to the version of Google Chrome deployed across the organization. With Google removing support for Silverlight and other components we would like to maintain our systems on version 44.
We were in the process of deploying 44 via the Patch Management process but had not completed the final step to deploy to the remaining 2000 computers after our initial testing of the process. We ended up with the release of version 45 that automatically supersedes version 44.
Discussion with support suggest there is no way to remove the superseded status of a give patch to keep it active in our enviornment. The only suggestion is to revert back to using software delivery for this upgrade.
We are asking here in case there is a method for accomplishing this with a given patch like this one. Look forward to any thoughts or solutions for this situation.
