Google is considering SHA-256 as a weak signature algorithm.

    Hi;

    Google Chrome is not liking the SHA-256 signature algorithm and declaring it as a weak signature algorithm. It is not displaying the lock in the navagation bar and showing an exclamation mark instead. what would be a strong one to use?  Would SHA-512 do the job?

    Hi Wasfi,

     

                     Its is SHA-1 which is being marked as weak. Please check the chain to see whether any SHA-1 is in being used in any of the cert.
