  • 1.  Gss 2.0 Making a Multi-network card bootable cd?

    Posted Jul 06, 2007 01:13 PM
I have Ghost 8.0 with a menu to pick which network card is installed in the machine and ghost works perfectly, but we recently updated to Gss 2.0 and the network admin that made the cd is on vacation for couple weeks, and i need to update the Ghost 8.0 bootable cd to the new Ghost 11.x that we got with GSS 2.0, how in the heck do you do it? I have been searching for 2 days and tried multiple things, The machines are to old to use the bootable usb device and for some reason the 2 disk floppies wont see the ghostcast server not to mention they are slow as heck.

    any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Mike

If all you really want to do is just change the ghost executeable to the new version I would recommend using Ultra ISO (trial for 20 or 30 days) and you can add/remove files from a CD ISO image.  I can't swear that it will let you add in trial but its worth a shot.

Dahh sometimes we over think things and try to get to technical when a simple answer will do. I did exactly what you said with ultra iso and it worked perfectly thanks alot for the help its appreciated.
