After installing a new 10gig Network card in our GSS server (running Windows 2012 R2) and changing the static IP from the old nic card to the new one.

After that, GSS console fails to launch with "Unable to connect to the Symantec Ghost Solution Suite DB Management Service"

"Unable to connect to the database. Would you like to try to open a different site?"  And only "Default" is listed.

GSS, PXE & SQL Express DB are running all on the same server.

What is the proper way to switch to switch to a new network card?   Would running the installer again fix the issue?

    Thanks.

I'm not changing the IP Address though, Just moved it to a new NIC within the same server.

Everything in the .ini still shows the correct info.

Does something tied in to the mac address maybe?

NM, Never restarted the computer after changing the IP to the new NIC : )

Disregard, Still have an issue.  Restarted got the console to load. But now all the clients show up as disconnected except for a random few ones, like <20 out of 1900

But if I switch the IP back to the old NIC port, everything connects fine.
