Hello
I have the ghost server installed and 2 Vista machines which are to be clients.
My first question is -- with the ghost console I cannot remotely install the ghost client - the
response is "Number of machines exceeds the license count". Is this the way it
is supposed to be in trialware?
My second question is: first the background -- so I installed the client locally from the downloaded GSS 2.0 trialware subdirectory called client using the clientsetup.exe file. However, after installation, in the taskbar I see that there is a red X over the client icon and when I hover over it it says
"trying to locate x.y.z" where x.y.z is the specified server I gave when I installed the client. Also in the system event log there was an entry that was an error with event id 7030 (Service Control Manager) saying the "Symantec Ghost Client Agent is marked as an interactive service. However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services. This service may not function properly." My question is : what is wrong? (sounds like a client not designed for Vista since I have read Vista does not allow interactive services).
Thank You,
taffy

Hi
I just downloaded the trialware version from symantec and all worked. Originally I had downloaded it
from my reseller and no license was supplied; I emailed asking about it and all they did was reproduce
the readme.txt.
