Please forgive me if this was posted elsewhere, but I have searched for days with no solution in sight.

I previously installed drivers using a batch script after the image process, but am trying to update my Windows 7 Enterprise x64 image to install drivers using DeployAnywhere.  I run DS 6.9 SP6 and am using a 64-bit WinPE 4.0 PXE image.  When I create a new "Distribute Disk Image" task and check the box to install drivers using DeployAnywhere, the image will download to the computer with no apparent issues.  However none of the drivers that I loaded into the DeployAnywhere driver DB will install.  The Windows device manager tab still shows a ton of unrecognized hardware.

Additionally, I would like to try to get DS to handle the domain join, rather than doing this via the unattend.xml file.

Before now, I would manually run sysprep using the /oobe /generalize /shutdown /unattend switches with a custom unattend.xml file containing several items, including the unattended join and a script to install DAgent on first boot (we have 3 DS servers).  I have tried every combination I could think of within DS, including enabling the "Deployed using sysprep" option, as well as creating a completely new Windows image using the prepare for image capture function, rather than running sysprep separately.  I am at a complete loss.

Can anybody help me out with this, or at least point me in the right direction?  All documentation that I have been able to find on DeployAnywhere only relates to XP, which doesn't help me at all.

    Thanks.

Curious with Windows 7 x64 and/or x86. Do you edit the registry by any chance? I had a hard time getting DA to deploy my drivers for a win 7 image. Found out through log files that I edited the key:

    HKLM\software\microsoft\windows nt\current version\RegisteredOwner

    HKLM\software\microsoft\windows nt\current version\RegisteredOrganization

The logs showed a failure because I always blanked the data in those keys. Entering the data before-hand instead of using my unattend.xml made DA immediatly work. If you do this too, consider this.
