How to add the ghost server to the ghost console for inventory

    Hi All,
     
    How can i add the ghost server itself to the ghost console, so i can do an inventory scan on it.
    I can't do a client install using remote install. It says it already has ghost installated.
     
    see log:
     
    Failed to install:
     \\Ghostsrv  (51):  (7): Connection: Logon failure. Possible reasons are:
        1. Incorrectly specified password and/or username.
        2. Simple File Sharing is enabled and the client is running on Windows XP.
        3. Incompatible Windows LAN Manager authentication levels between console & client machine.
        Please refer to the Symantec Ghost Manual to change the above mentioned windows settings.
      
     (40): Ghost installed: There already is version of Ghost installed on this computer: \\Ghostsrv

    What can i do , i just want to add it to the list so i can do an inventory scan etc.

    Hi Hans ,
     
     
    At this stage adding the Console machine to the Console is not possible.
    You can ad any other 2K3 system as a Client and create a new filter (OS System.version-key)and new dynamic group to house 2k3 machines for inventory purposes.
