  • 1.  How to apply DLP Policy on Particular Users

    Hi Everyone,

    I want to apply DLP Policy on Particular Users but I am unable to do it.

    Please suggest....

    Hi Kirandeep,

    Do you have a directory connection configured to AD?

    If so you can create a new User Group under Manage --> Policies --> User Groups

     

    Here you can create a new group and select the directory server your user's are a part of.

    After adding your users and/or AD groups you can use this in your policies by selecting them under the "groups" tab in your policy configuration - then using Sender/User Matches based on directory server group

     

    Alternatively you can use a DCM pattern and select "Sender/User Matches Pattern" to try and match a username/name/email etc, based on keywords

    Hi Kirandeep,

    To apply Policy on particular user group follow below procedure with Snapshots:

    Create New User Group under :

    Add new group and select particular usaers from AD, on which you want to apply Policy.

    After creating group, go to Policy-> Add new Policy and go to Group tab in Policy:

    Click on group and Add Rule to select that group.

    Selcet Sender/User Matches based on directory server from: Select Group of those particluar Users.

    After selecting group then you can Add detection rules on those users:

    Hope this snapshots will help you to create Policy on Particular users.
