How to block or prevent a specific user/Users to send emails out Of my Domain?

  • 1.  How to block or prevent a specific user/Users to send emails out Of my Domain?

Hi, We are using Symantec Messaging Gateway Version 10.6.2 and Zimbra 8.0.7 Mail server and it works fine.

And recenty we have a requirment to block external email facility (for other domains ie : XXX@gmail.com ) for selected email addresses.

What is the best way to do this? is it possible to do this using an AD group ?

    Thanks

You would create a policy to detect that domain in the recipient and take an action. We always recommend something non-destructive such as quarantine when testing a new policy.

You would then create a policy group assigned on the LDAP group you want this rule applied to and enable the policy only for that policy group.
