  • 1.  how can I download the Update and Deploy to Microsoft Windows agent?

    dear all

    I am beginner in Symantec Patch Management !

    How can i download and fetch lest patches of OS? 

    after that i want to deploy the critical patches to agents and servers in my scope.

    please explain steps or suggest any Usable Document .

    well its simple..
    ​you need to have the altiris server up and running with the solutions you want to use (patch, inventory, etc)
    ​deploy the client agent onto the machines you wish to support
    ​In Altiris, patch management, setup to retrieve pm import, download patches and target them out.
    ​What have you done to this point?

    ​I have this on youtube as well as from beginning to end of getting Altiris up and running (think 7.6)...
