  • 1.  how can i protect my files from scanning

    i have created a folder in which i m going to save some important files

    now i want that files cannot be scan because if they scan and there is some virus detected then i lost my data.

    so how can i protect my files from scanning?

    You can add the folder in exception of scanning.So no data will be scan from that folder

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

    Either create a file & folder exception or specify the action that Symantec Endpoint Protection takes when it makes a detection on Windows computers. You can change the default setting to avoid deletion of any file.
