    Hi,

     

    I have a All-in-One Altiris Notification Server 7.1 (Virtual Machine) for PC inventory & software deployment with MSSQL database 2008 R2.

    How to control Symantec Agent CPU & Memory usage on Client PC?

     

    I find the agent used Client PC 10% CPU when perform full inventory check, I want to limit it around 5% or an amount of MB, can it? Thanks.

    You can not limit it to a percentage of cpu load. But you can configure the priority of the process. For this open the inventory policy in your console, click on the advanced button and go to the "Run options" tab. Here you can set the "system resource usage" to one of the following options "very high, high, normal, low or very low".
