    SEP for Mac has been introduced in the version RU6 of endpoint.

    As far as the version mentioned by you, it is MR5 which does not support Mac. You will have to download the latest version i.e. RU6MP1 from file connect (https://fileconnect.symantec.com/licenselogin.jsp?localeStr=en_US) and then you have the ability to create Mac client package from the SEPM.

    The Symantec Endpoint Protection client now supports:
    Microsoft Windows 7 (all editions except for Itanium)
    Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 (all editions except for Itanium)
    Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 2

    Release Update 6 (RU6)11.0.6000 & above


    Symantec Endpoint Protection includes client software to run on a Macintosh computer. The client runs on the following versions of Mac OS X:
    Mac OS 10.4
    Mac OS 10.5
    Mac OS 10.6 (32-bit and 64-bit versions)

    11.0.5000 is not compatible with MAC you need to download 11.0.6xxxx from https://fileconnect.symantec.com
