Is there a way to create a network Boot CD in Ghost Solution Suite 1.0? The Ghost Boot Wizard has an option for a network boot disk but not network boot CD. I want to boot from a CD, load nic drivers, and map a drive to a server.

Also, I have a netbios name resolution problem. We no longer have a Wins server on our network so I am having problems mapping drives to servers on a different subnet. Is there a way to configure a network bood disk/CD to use DNS for name resolution instead of netbios?

    Thanks.

    Hi there ,

There is option to create Network Boot CD/DVD from Ghost Boot Wizard.Create ISO image from Network Boot option (check Bootable CD/DVD option box) and then use ISO to create CD/DVD.You have to have CD/DVD burning software.

    Cheers.

I believe from GSS1.1, ghost boot wizard can create bootable CD.
for the DNS resolution, I couldn't find a way to use DNS name resolution.

I received a similar message with a few of my pc's when I tried booting from a cd.
I switched to MS DOS rather than PC DOS and that booted up fine. Try giving that a go.
