I just uninstalled Symantec client from one of my PC , But still couldn't delete that client from the SEPM.. How can i do that ???
Should be no more than right clicking and selecting the 'Delete' option. If synched with AD then the client needs to be removed from AD.
Are you using Active Directory synchronization for your client groups in the SEPM?
in the SEPM, right click the client and select delete, you dont see that option?
The delete option is grayed out, And yes it synced with AD.
That's why. Either break the sync or delete the computer within AD and force a sync.
as its synced with AD , it will show the machine entry (grayed) without green dot in SEPM, it needs to be deleted from AD OU.
Removing from AD will remove the computer information you may not be able to log in to the machine once deleted.
It worked, Thanks guys...
You're welcome.
