  • 1.  How do I show proof of encryption?

    Hi -

I have universal server 10.2 managing my PGP WDE clients....   My question is... how do I get a report that I can give to audit showing/proving all disks in a given machine are currently encrypted.

This would be necessary in for non-repudiation in the case a laptop with sensitive data is stolen or lost.   Without proof of encryption, the company would have to disclose the loss or theft.

I see that I can take a screenshot that shows this information, but there must be a log/report I can dump to a file to hand to audit or other authorities.

You can use pgpwde or take screenshoots of pgp desktop.

export WDE activity fromt pgp unversal server will give you that info.

it's not as pretty as the device screen in universal server.

Thank you.... this is what I was looking for.   The other informatin is usefull, but I am looking for how I can prove that a computers drive was encrypted after a loss or theft of the computer... so I can't use the desktop client views shown above).
