Hello,
I set schedule scan on symantec endpoint policy. but I found that it try to scan quarantine folder also.
Is this normal? should we exclude this path?
Which version did you use?
this is normaly in older versions. But I didn't see it in Ru6
Best Regards.

Yes; its as per design;
if symatec not able to clear or delete; it will quarentine the file
when new definitions arrive ; it will start scanning those files again with new definitions..
endpoint MR4, How can I upgrade it? Please advise me step by step. I don't want it scan quarantine folder every week.
You can disable that;
there should be open under quarentine option; under AV / AS policy
How can I disable it?
Please tell me step by step. thank you.
open symantec endpoitn manager
click on policies
select antivirus and antispyware policy
select quarantine
select Do nothing.
click on apply click on Ok, thats it

I think that is not right way to fix it. I just want schedule scan exclude quarantines path but don't want to set do nothing when symantec found virus.
Upgrade to the latest version RU6 MP1
You should be able to download the ISO from FileConnect which will include the upgrade for the SEPM as well as the clients.
