  • 1.  How to force Symantec Encryption Server to update client status?

    Posted May 21, 2013 11:12 PM

    Hi,

I have deployed symantec encryption server 10.3 and enrolled encrytion desktop to all my clients. In the group policy setting i give it to update policy and send logs to server once a week. I wonder if i have make any mistake that all my client hard drive is encrypted successfully but on the server it show " none encrypted" . I have tried to "update policy" from client but it does not change anything.

Is there anyway to force the server update the client status immediately. Thank you and thank you in advance if Alex or Ben here

Does the "Last Seen" column tally with the online status of the end point?

    Hello Alex,

Thank you for helping me so many times.

The last seen column is not tally with the endpoint status unless the endpoint manually update the policy

What is your policy heartbeat?  By default it's 24 hours.  If the user reboots their machine does it check-in then?
