Ghost Solution Suite

Would be possible to get new licenses for the old Ghost Solution Suite (v2.5.1)? this software is working pretty well for us.

It isn't possible to purchse more licenses.   Is that what you are asking when you ask for new licenses?    I am glad that the 2.5 is working good for you still.   It was a solid product even if it is a bit dated now. 

 

Yes, I meant to purchase new licenses. So is not possible? that's a pity. :(

I am surprised that Symantec don't do the same as Microsoft whereby you get downgrade rights for MS operating systems. So if you were to buy Ghost 3 licenses, you could use them for Ghost 2.5 and then if you upgrade in future you already have the licenses. Maybe contact the Ghost product manager David Evans?

We did offer a downgrade grace period during the EOL timeframe but that has expired now. Unfortunately there is no way of purchasing further licenses for 2.5. If you are only using the ghost standard tools then there are licensing options available (let me know if that's the case). Obviously GSS 3.1 is the current shipping version, but I understand it's not entirely a like for like swap. David
