What do you mean by "skip"?

Where exactly you want to hide them?

• Client?
• Server (a special report? patch remediation center?) ... you could give them a custom severity to sort
• When creating a policy?

sorry, my poor english.

Skip mean, Each I distribute a new package of software update, I must unchoose the patches that we needn't. If can I hide the pathes of software update that I don't want to distribute?

e.g.:

Microsoft release the "Outlook time zone move tool" patch, but I need not it. I hope we can hide the patch in the patches list of software update.

Now I give them a custom severity. But I find it is easy to make mistakes to do carelessly distribution.

I dont really know any method to "unmanage" patches.

The custom severity might be the only things, that comes close.

Patch distribution should never be "careless" ;), but i do understand your idea behind.

Normally you create a policy for a bulletin only once and then modify the targets. So if you uncheck the update within the policy, thats like not active managing it. The custom severity helps you in reporting your "real" vulnerabilities.
