    Hello,
We are currently using 11.0.4202.75 version on xp computers and when I send the package from the endpoint server I have no problems on xp,. but when I try to send to a windows 7 computer the log shows its successful but it's not there. Any ideas on what I'm missing. Thanks

     MR5 ( 11.0.5002.333 ) is officially supported on Windows 7.
So i would suggest you to upgrade your SEPM to MR5 and exort and push MR5 packages...

However if you are using this version ( 11.0.4202.xx) then install only Antivirus and Antispyware as other components will cause problems.

to install it on the client first run the lusetup.exe from the package ( liveupdate ) then install SEP.

Is this the only way it can be done is to upgrade. I work at a private school and all the computers being used by teachers and students runs off of 11.0.4 and I would like to not upgrade in the middle of the school if possible. Thanks

You dont have to upgrade everybody at once.
    1. Upgrade SEPM to MR5
    2. Export the package for Windows 7 clients
3.Then others at you own will anytime MR5 SEPM can managed older version clients of 11.0.4202.xx

or meanwhile install only Antivirus antispyware on windows 7 clients . Install Lusetup then SEP. it will work.
