Hi,

I'd like to get some feedback from the community on how long it usually takes to install a PCU. I installed PCU 2012-1 over a fresh install of CCS 10.5.1 and it took close to 2 hours. The part that took the longest is the Technical Standard Packs installation.

Is this a typical installation time or should I investigate performance issues on the server? I browsed through the install logs quickly but couldn't see any errors.

2hrs seems like a longer amount of time than normal , though if you have a lot of standards installed on the system there is more to update .

In my virtual machine lab it took around an hr though that is nowhere near the same hardware specs as a production environment.

Thanks Kevin. This gives me an order of magnitude. If you would of told me 5 minutes, I would have been concerned.
