How to prevent sysprep from running after deploying an image

I am trying to figure out how to prevent sysprep from running after deploying an image, I have created an initial base image of windows 10 in audit mode on a VM and want to be able to deploy that image to physical computers that I use to create highly customized lab images. I need to be able to continue customizing the image in audit mode by installing and configuring software for scientific equipment that needs specfic drivers embeded into the image as well as customized settings made available to all users via the default profile. Unfortunately sysprep automatically runs after deploying the image which takes the image out of audit mode.

I know this is not supported but because windows 10 is so difficult to create a default profile compared to other versions of windows, I need to figure out a way to create a default profile for many pieces of customized software so when students login with their AD accounts they are able to get all the customized setings from the default profile which is copied via an answerfile when I run sysprep after I have the Administrator account configured in audit mode.
