  • 1.  How to re-enable auto-start of Live-Update?

    As far as I remember LiveUpdate of my Symantec AntiVirus v9 was started AUTOMATICALLY in the past at startup of my computer.

    Accidentially this LiveUpdate entry was deleted .

    How can I re-enable auto-start of LiveUpdate (without re-installing whole AntiVirus)?

    Live updte can be installed as a stand alone application and generally is.  Not sure about SAV9, but would assume it to be the same. 
    Do you know what version of LU you are using?  I would think, even though, SAV 9 is installed, the LU would auto-update and should be at version 3.1, could be an older version and should be able to be installed from the CD or downloaded directly from the web.

    Jason is correct, you will just need to re-install LiveUpdate, no worries.

    Btw, what do you mean it is deleted? did you uninstall it? Please double check on Add-Remove Programs.
