Hello! Please help me in restricting the removable drives.

    Scenario:
I will be implementing Truecrypt to my USB drive. Truecrypt is an open-source software for data encryption. The said software consists the ff files:
    a. truecrypt.exe

    b. truecrypt.sys

    c. truecrypt-x64.sys

    d. configuration.xml

    e. restrict

    These were my conditions:

    1. By default, all files( exe, xls, txt, reg, bat, jpg etc) must be blocked except Truecrypt components stated above and .doc files.
    2. The policy be used is Application Control.

    Thanks in advance.

Block copy and execution of specific files from an USB
While creating the exception add *.doc and that 4 files.

Check this link. It describes the way you can acheive it.

How to block USB Thumb Drives and USB Hard Drives, but allow specific USB Drives in the Application and Device Control Policy in Symantec Endpoint Protection.

The policy I have created only missed the * sign.

    Thanks for the help!
