Try to use 'Check Software Update Package Integrity' task that located at menu folder

Manage > Jobs and Tasks > Software > Patch Management

Additional check-boxes no needs to be ticked on task page. During this task execution package setting will changed to default software installation option - Hidden.

Really, recreating of SW packages doesn't change this option.

'Check SWP Integrity' task should do it.

    Hello

    Thanks for your help!

I had enable the  'Check Software Update Package Integrity' task before. Just now, I recreate packages, all the setting of packages is "Hidden".

I don't know why is it?

Have you checked the Managed Software Delivery settings?  I know it sounds strange for a software update, but It's the only other thing I can think of that has a similar checkbox.

I have provided more info in this thread - https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/how-perform-silent-patch-updating. Silent install should be handled by the corresponding command line parameters, not by changing "starting windows" parameter.

Almost all Microsoft update packages that come in EXE format have a number of command line switches that can be applied to make the installation silent, and do other things such as unpacking the files in the update. Usually, running the EXE with /? as a command switch will display a dialog box of all the different switches available.
