    Posted Feb 17, 2011 07:05 PM

We have a lots of machine, they use DHCP ip address, sometime they login to server, some time they don't, is anyway when they login to server then it will trigger the altiris agent installation automatically on their machine?

    Thanks.

Hi Lillian, what version are you using now? Keep in mind these may need to be modified to fit your organization.

    Version 7

    Version 6

having the agent be part of the build process?  we copy it in during the build process and the first time the system logs on it runs a command to install the agent (first logon, setup command, etc).

    Hi Lillian,

I posted a download for a machine startup script (non-logon script; runs as part of the machine's startup process when connected to the domain) that checks for and installs the Agent.  I do need to update it as I have since tweaked it to properly support 64bit OSes (I think the version I have posted right now will uninstall, then reinstall the Agent at each reboot!).  If you'd like to take a look, it is available here:
