how to share the "local area connection" via "wireless network connection"?

  • 1.  how to share the "local area connection" via "wireless network connection"?

    Posted Sep 02, 2012 10:36 PM

    i use the sep12.1.671.4971 unmanaged client(XP-32bit).

i share the "local area connection"by click "local area connection--properties--advanced--allow other network users to connet through this computer's internet connection",and the ip address of "wireless network connection" turns into 192.168.0.1&255.255.255.0 automatically.

unfortunately,my ipad can connect the wireless network BUT IS NOT ABLE TO ACCESS THE INTERNET if i use the sep's internet protection and click "only allow application connection".  The log shows that the ipad-wireless connections toward internet have benn blocked in the ruler "block all".....

i add a firewall ruler to allow ALL CLIENT and ALL IP CONNECTIONS and put it first, but my ipad can only access the internet via "local area connection(SHARE)"by click "allow IP connection "in the setting--------------nothing changed!!!

so ,what should i do to make my ipad ez to access the internet but not click "allow IP connection "?

    Hi,
you are by accessing your wireless network right?
you need to allow certain IP connection on your iPad in the SEP
lets see how many ips you on track and try to put your ipad in this range
thus allowing you restart your connection and try again
the SEP says no authorizes disable the option to block everything.
authorize his entry and the lock again

Another tip for safety do not leave a range of IPs that high because if you suffer an invasion will be easy to connect
If you determine a track menorde IPs or necessary for use in a possible invasion of your wireless network the attacker will not connect to you or your network

Check in the SEP brand as block and allow.
