  • 1.  How to update version of PGP desktop from Universal Server download

    I'm downloading the PGP desktop installer with a preset policy from our Universal Server, the method is here: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO42101

     

    How do I update the version though? Currently the download gives me 10.2.1 MP4 but I'd like to have MP5

     

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Update your server by installing either the client update or full server update that includes the client update. 

     

    Both are available on fileconnect

    PGPUniversal3.2.1MP5_PGPDesktop10.2.1_PUP.zip - Client update only

    PGPUniversal3.2.1MP5_PUP.zip - Server and client update

    Before updating, take backups of your server & org key. Also keep your Ignition Key to hand.

    Upload the latest .pup file & update.

    The server will reboot & you need to enter your ignition key to access the web interface.
