Hi Islam,
Cache-pulse is a subscription based feature where the device will use its unique client certificate to authenticate with our cloud servers. If authentication is successful and the device is entitled, it will be able to download this CPL file. This CPL is not visible to customer because it is a paid feature. If we disclose the CPL to end customer, it will make it easy for them to copy to other devices which are not having the entitlement.
The CPL of cache-pulse are made available after through testing. This is created by keeping in mind that it doesn’t add extra load to the device in terms of CPU or memory. The comparison of with/without is normally done by running the proxy without for a week and then enable Cache-pulse for a week. Do note that the amount of caching benefit nowadays will depend on ssl interception also.
Once the CPL is downloaded, it will be updated whenever there is a modified CPL available. If your license expire, it will stop updating the CPL file and will start to increment the subscription health check failure count.
