Patch Management Solution

With Patch Tuesday coming to an end what can we expect from the patch management solution going forward?

I could be wrong here, but I do not think Patch Tuesday is "coming to an end". I interpreted the Microsoft announcement as Security Bulletins will no longer be published on Microsofts website like the used to be. They will now be published in a 'Security Updates Guide' for ease of sorting, filtering, and leveraging API's to obtain information.

As far as us receiving patches monthly, I think this will be business as usual. If anyone has heard different, I am all ears as well. 

I see, so it may still be the second Tuesday, but the bulletins are gone. I might just have to wait and see how this all works. My biggest concern is in the FAQ and the mention of Microsoft isn't guaranteeing all third party software will work in the future.

Patch Tuesday is not coming to an end, Microsoft announced plans to institute a more simple patching model for multiple Operating Systems and the information can be found here:

The bulletins are not gone, they now have Cumulative Security Update Names in Patch Remediation Center and information regarding those names can be found here:

I guess I am confused when they say:

Q: What will happen to security bulletin ID numbers?

A: Microsoft will no longer use bulletin ID numbers for documenting new security updates after January 10, 2017. Bulletin ID numbers and bulletin webpages for security updates released before February 14, 2017 will be maintained.

This should hopefully be more clear to me next week.
