Endpoint Protection

Hi Guys,

i'm a System Admin from Germany with a little Problem ;)

On some Clients in my Company i have the problem, that Hybernation won't work anymore as soon as i installed SEP 11 :(

- Operating System: Win XP SP3

- SEP 11 (newest release)

- Notebook Hardware Lenovo R61, 2GB, 100GB HDD

The Notebook goes into Hybernation but won't wake up really. The Fan turns on, the HDD clicks a bit, but nothing really happend.

After uninstalling SEP 11 all is fine...

Anyone an idea?

do you have network thereat protection component installed.

if so uninstall that component and try, u can do that by going to add/remove programs.sep.modify..remove ntp and ptp...

Try uninstalling the NTP feature if you have installed it on the problematic machine

But i only installed Antivirus and Anti Spyware, nothing else. No NTP, no Firewall, nothing then Antivirus.

I checked it on 3 Notebooks (start->SW->change) there where only red crosses at NTP and PTP...

Any other idea?

if u have fingerprint reader , try disabling it

These R61 have no finger Printers :( Can i give you any logs or something?

(But Fingerprint-Thing could perhaps solve the Problem with the R500 and SEP 11, i'll try!)
