I want to set a Software Baseline, and schedule a report to check any PC's installed software is not included in this baseline. Can it be done? and how?

    Hi all,

    I have a All-in-One Altiris Notification Server 7.1 (Virtual Machine) for PC inventory & software deployment with MSSQL database 2008 R2.

    I want to set a Software Baseline, and schedule a report to check any PC's installed software is not included in this baseline. Can it be done? and how?

     

    For example:

    In Windows 7 PC, we only allow MS Office 2007 & 7-zip installed on PC.

    Can I generate a report if any PC contains other software instead of MS Office 2007 & 7-zip if any? I need specified host name and what software(s) name is not allowed also.

    In Windows XP we have other standard software to check...

     

    We need to check any un-authorized software is/are installed on our managed PC.

    It's what I want. However, the report need to view on computer base.

    Is that any list of report can show all Computer which is different with base line? As I need to check all PC weekly to find anyone install program without our confirmation.......
