Deployment Solution

I recently re-installed pxe due to some issue that I previously encoutered. Now, I can re-image existing pcs that I already image from the server before but couldn't build any new one. The database only contains NULLs for new systems eventhough I created the computer in the console. I'm using altiris console 6.8. Is there anyway you folks can help? Thanks

If I understand correctly, you can send an image to computers known to the NS, but cannot image computers not known to the NS (new computers).

Check your PXE Server Configuration
Settings > All Settings
Settings > Deployment and Migration > Symantec Boot Services (PXE)
PXE Server Configuration
Check the box 'Respond to unknown computers'
Click 'Save changes'
Update the configuration on your PXE server(s)
Try to image a computer not known to your NS

I was able to access PXE configuration utility but couldn't find the settings tab. Is there anyway you can elaborate more?  Thanks

You're using 6.8 and I wrote this for 7.1.

If you recently reinstalled PXE, you may want to just upgrade your DS to 6.9 SP4.  It's supported whereas 6.8 is not, and there are many fixes for PXE issues.
