    Hallo @all

    I am new in working with Altiris Deployment Solutions. Therefore i need some Answers.

    I want to deploy Images on Thin Clients. Is this only possible with PXE or is there any other solution like port 80 or something else?

    Deployment with PXE is not suitable in our environment. So I search for other solution to solve our needs.

    We only want to deploy images in a release structure and after staging the client Name has to be changed, write protect must be enabled and mass storage devices must be disabled. No other Tasks.

    Can you help me to answer my questions?

    Hi.
    What kind of HP thin client and how much free disk space do you have?
    You can’t boot from the drive that you want to deploy an image to so maybe installing an automation partition is the solution, but you will need at least 174 MB (WinPe) free disk.
    Start Boot disk creator. File / Create automation partition installer.
