  • 1.  Import HTTPS Certificates

    Hi,

    Can I import StartSSL Class3 OV SSL for SMG https?

    I'm getting the error message below during import from SMG web gui:

    The following warning(s) have been detected
    A certificate chain can not be built for the certificate being imported

    When I look under Administration -> Certificates, and check the Certificate Authority tab, there is no StartSSL listed. Since we do not have a root cert, you will need to import the entire certificate chain. You would need to contact StartSSL for these additional certificates.

    Hi, please refer to the attachment, I found that StartCom repersent StartSSL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StartCom

    That does not negate the need to import the entire certificate chain. The error specifically states that it cannot build the chain. This is becuase one or more parts are missing, either the root cert or an intermediate cert.
